Hello! I recently put together a revamped plan for the year to focus my building, and I realized it was time to share an update. Here’s the 2-minute update.

The 2024 plan has adjusted a little to incorporate a tad more experimentation and risk. It’s still the same trajectory, but I think it’s so much better.

1. Write AI + Blockchain book

The focus has iterated - I’m now writing about existing problems with AI that blockchain is perfectly suited to solve.

The focus is using real-life examples to highlight the limitations of AI and then to fill in the blanks with how blockchain can be the right long-term, scalable solution.

I’ve written ~20K words with a target of 60K, and my goal is to write the complete first draft by the end of 2Q24, put a publishing outreach plan together in 3Q24, and target publishing in 2025.

Genesis and Season One NFT hodlers will receive a free copy of the book.

2. Launch stealth in-person events product MVP

I’ve been hosting a monthly in-person event in Austin for 6+ months now.

I have a vision for building a basic, free-tier-only MVP by the end of 2024. I don’t expect it to be available for people outside of Austin until 2025.

When paid tiers launch, they’ll be free for Genesis hodlers (lifetime) while Season One hodlers will get free access for a limited time post launch.

3. New AI product MVP

Related to the in-person events product, I have a complementary AI product in mind.

There’s a built-in, organic referral mechanism and a clear SaaS revenue model that could provide a faster path to sustainable revenue. So I’ve decided to prioritize this AI product. Should take ~10 total days of building to create the complete MVP.

The paid tiers will be free for Genesis hodlers (lifetime) while Season One hodlers will get it free for a limited time post launch.

4. ETH + BTC Trading Bot

Over a weekend in 1Q24, I built a bot to automate my own daily crypto buys using Coinbase’s APIs (saves money and executes reliably).

By the end of this year, my goal is to build a fully automated trading bot that buys and sells ETH and BTC. The intent is to validate that I can earn a positive return.

I will spend 3 more weekends building this out in 2024, so cost benefit analysis is favorable.

5. Crypto Farming

I setup an anon account for Future Mints to experiment with this form of engagement awareness about a month ago. The anon account is intended to protect the Future Mints brand from the generally spammy tactics required for crypto farming.

This is an experiment to see if I can generate $100 per month to simply cover server costs while investing very little time. There may be valuable learnings from this experience, but at the moment, it’s too early to tell.
